Je suis donc partit de Montreal, Quebec, a 5h du matin, le 20 aout 2005. Taxi sympathique! Il m'a aide a porter les 84 kgs de bagages que j'ai pris aux Etats-Unis! Arriveea l'aeroport, vol annule! Ca commence bien! Mais finalement, ils m'ont trouve un vol direct pour Los Angeles avec Air Canada! Une fois arrive a LAX, mon conseiller parrain du Rotary, BenediktBrydern, vient me chercher. Direction ma famille d'accueil qui m'attend. A mon arrivee, pas de famille d'accueil! Benedikt me propose gentiment de me donner la cle de son appartement. (photo sur son balcon) J'ai donc pu effectuer une petite promenade a Santa Monica en apres-midi et finallement, j'arrive a joindre Leticia, ma famille d'accueil. En tout cas, l'appartement ou je reside est tres bien. Il est situe dans une residence pres de mon ecole de langue.

I left Montreal, Canada, on August 20th 2005 at 5:00 a.m. The taxi driver was sympathic! He helped me to carry my 168 Lbs luggages I took! When I arrived at Montreal's airport: the flight was cancelled! But finally, the staff found me a direct flight for Los Angeles with Air Canada! Five hours later, in LAX, Benedikt Brydern, who is my host councelor from Rotary came to pick me up. We went together in the direction of my host family. When we arrived, nobody was at home. So, Benedikt was very kind because he proposed me to stay at his home. (photo on his balcony) Thus, I could take a walk in Santa Monica afternoon, and finally, I succeed in speaking to Leticia, my host family. Her apartment is very nice. It is situated at about 25 minutes by bus from ELS, the language center. I will stay at ELS one month to learn english...
