7eme et 8eme jour (week-end) Vendredi soir, petite sortie avec Jeffrey, un ami de Leticia, qui est ma famille d'accueil. On a ete a Santa Monica dans 2 ou 3 bars que connait bienJeff. Bonne ambiance et Clubs et musiques agreables. J'ai ete oblige de montrer ma carte d'identite pour entrer dans le bar. Il y avait beaucoup de monde dans les rues, presque uniquement des touristes! Ca parlait dans toutes les langues. Samedi, j'ai ete avec Benedikt, mon parrain du Rotary a Hollywodd pour commencer a trouver un appartement pour Octobre. Benedikt m'a inviter a manger au Farmers Market (photos) C'est un endroit sympathique, facon "Vieille Europe". Dimanche matin, debout a 8h30 car Jeffrey est venu me chercher pour assister a 2 matches de Soft Ball. (photos) Ce sont les memes regles que le Base Ball avec quelques legeres nuances techniques (mais impossible de vous l'expliquer). En tout cas, Jeff est tres sympathique, il a un coeur en or. On a passe la journee ensemble. Ce que je peux dire, c'est que le lancer de la balle est tres technique! Jeffrey travaille dans les sports mecaniques. A mon grand etonnement,j'ai vu Benedikt dans une scene du film. Il est violoniste, et la production a fait appel a lui pour interpreter l'un des violonistes enregistrant avec Ray Charles, incroyable!

7th & 8th day (weekend): Friday evening, I met Jeffrey, a friend of Leticia who is my host family, and we went to a bar in Santa Monica. A friend of Jeffrey works in this bar. Very good atmosphere and deco amazing! I was forced to show to the doorman my ID card. In USA, we can enter in a bar if we are not at least 21 y.o. There were a lot of people in the streets, almost only tourists I think because manu diferent languages were spoken.
On saturday, Benedikt picked me up to go to Hollywood, in order to find an apartment for October, Benedikt invited me for lunch at the famous Farmers Market. It is a very nice place, as if we were in "old Europe". (photo)
On sunday morning, I woke up at 8:30 because Jeffrey came to pick me up to go to watch 2 matches of Soft Ball. (photo) The rules of the game are very similar than Base Ball but the technics are diferent (but I can not explain...). Jeffrey is a very good person. We were together all day long. He showed me some manners to throw the ball. It is also very technic and dificult!

On sunday evening, I watched "Ray", the movie whitch tells the life of Ray Charles. And surprise!!! I saw Benedikt playing violon in a scene. Benedikt played the role of a violonist recording with Ray Charles! Unbeleivable!
