Aujourd'hui, c'est Halloween. Ici, tout le monde attend cette fete avec impatience, les petits comme les grands! Il y a comme une atmosphere de joyeux delire un peu partout, aussi bien sur les perrons des maisons que dans les supermarches!... Car les gadgets Halloween en tous genres vont bon train! Les Etats-Unis est LE pays de la surconsommation et Halloween, c'est aussi la fete pour les tirelires du commerce! Tout est organise pour que la maman achete le maximum de choses possible pour son bambin. Ce week-end, on a organise une "party" a la maison. En tant qu'Europeen, je pensais naivement qu'il y aurait une quarantaine de personnes environ!! Je ne sais pas combien il y a eu d'"invites" mais il y a eu des vagues de squelettes et de sorcieres en tout genre qui sont rentrees dans la maison et un peu partout dans le jardin. Max, le fils de Jennifer avait fait appel a ses copains le matin pour la decoration. Ca se voit qu'on est a Hollywood! La decoration etait incroyable! On se serait cru en plein clip video d'un thriller! Il y a meme des enfants qui on eu trop peur et n'ont pas voulu mettre un pied dans le cimetiere que Max et ses amis ont cree (photos)

Today is Halloween. Everybody waits for this day with impatience, the children and the adults! There is like a happy crazy atmosphere quite everywhere, in the houses and also in the
supermarkets!... Because the variety of Halloween's gadgets is huge! United States is THE country of the consumer society and Halloween is as well the crazy day for the commerce!
Everything is organized ton permit to the mothers buying the maximum things for their kids.
This week-end, we organized a Halloween party at home. As I am europeen, I was naive and thought there were about 40 people. I do not know how many "guests" came but there were waves of skeletons and witches who entered in the house and quite everywhere in the garden too. Jennifer's son, Max, called his friends in the morning to decorate the house and the backyards. It is in these moments I can see I live in Hollywood! The decoration was amazing! We could be in a thriller! Especially for some children. Some of them did not go to the backyards because they were too scary! (photos)
